TRAVEL DIARY- AMARA SANCTUARY RESORT SENTOSA 2016

Hey guys! Today I’m doing an overview of the breathtaking place that we stayed at in Sentosa Island. I keep going back to stuff in Singapore because I secretly relive the whole experience as I share it on here with you guys. So enjoy.

The resort we stayed at was absolute love! It was the most stunning and serene place ever! It made me go slightly crazy and not want to leave but of course that wasn’t happening, so we made the most out of the days that we spent there.
We stayed at Amara sanctuary resort. The location was perfect because everything was accessible by 10 minutes’ walk, by everything I mean, all the attractions, convenience store, beach, resorts world. We often had post-midnight romantic strolls to McDonald. It was fabulous.

We stayed in the deluxe room.  It was great because it was pretty minimalist with the decor but at the stay time tastefully done. I think the whole idea was to take in the natural beauty that surrounded the place rather than be overtaken by an overly done interior. It’s sort of a place where i would totally like to retire and write a book , a writers retreat. The deluxe room was pretty big and they were nice enough to offer and accommodate us with a baby cot. Also, I was wondering… is it just me or these hotel beds are crazy comfortable? Like i wouldn’t mind dropping all plans and just rolling on these cozy mushy soft beds all day. Anyway, moving on, the view was to die for. No exaggeration. The room window overlooked this tiny tropical garden area which had a super cute small glass room known as the ‘Glass Chapel’ for weddings, along with an open bar and the resorts dining area. It felt other worldly. Sigh. I think HK and I kinda decided to reenact our wedding in another 12 years over here with close family and friends. Inshallah.

At night

The place had a separate bar that came to live after sunset for visitors, it was called Tier Bar. It offered drinks, food and live karaoke entertainment. They also had their very own Thai restaurant and of course the gorgeous infinity pool that had this spectacular view of the sea.
